SORRENTO, La. – The River Parishes Community College Foundation, Inc will hold its annual Classic Golf Scramble fundraiser on Wednesday, May 16 at The Lakes golf course at Pelican Point in Gonzales. The day begins with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.

The RPCC Foundation was founded to provide financial assistance to the college through gifts, grants and other revenue. The Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization and is led this year by Louis Lambert, local attorney and former state senator from Prairieville.

At the tournament, players will vie for a $5,000 Hole-in-One prize, a longest drive prize, five closest-to-hole prizes, as well as overall tournament winner.

Food and beverages will be served throughout the day. The media is invited to attend.
